A Ray of Sunshine

Isn’t it the best when someone’s outfit just fits her personality to a tee?  When I met Daisy on a warm October afternoon at Sacred Heart Greenwich’s campus, I was thrilled to see her in a gorgeous yellow dress.  She looked stunning and the yellow worked well with the changing leaves and the warm afternoon sunlight.  Even more importantly, the happy yellow color perfectly matched Daisy’s sunny personality.

I learned so much about Daisy during the session.  Her school’s campus was an ideal location choice for the session.  Daisy loves her school so much.  She filled me in about all the wonderful senior traditions that would be occurring all year.  She told me how much she would miss Sacred Heart and how much the school had come to mean to her.  She was so comfortable on the campus of a school she considered a second home.

Daisy was such a fun senior to work with.  She never stopped smiling!  I had advised her to bring a change of outfit so after we got our fill of the yellow dress, Daisy changed into a crisp blue top with white jeans.  Daisy’s sophisticated sense of style was evident.  We explored more of the campus and then headed into the school theater.  Daisy has been involved in theater during all her high school years.  It was only fitting to take some fun and dramatic shots in the theater.  Turns out she is a wonderful piano player too so I made sure to incorporate some pianos images as well.  Her list of talents and interests seemed endless but yet she was so modest about her many accomplishments.  She was the kind of senior you meet that you just know will be so successful in whatever she ends up pursuing.  Her warm, optimistic and energetic personality really came out during the session and in the images.

I recently learned that Daisy will be attending my alma mater – Georgetown University!  I could not be more thrilled for Daisy who will be a great addition to Georgetown.  Hoya Saxa Daisy!
